Continue the work on an AMV

so far ive only scrapped one amv that i was making (i thought it might be fun to do a fanservice amv but then it occured to me about halfway through that mine was really no different from the dozens of others already out here so i lost motivation and scrapped it). however, for all my other amvs ive been motivated since they all had a unique concept or aspect that i felt made them unique. i also pick songs that i dont get bored with, how do i test that? well when i go jogging on my daily exercise i get a bunch of songs and play em on my ipod and see which ones i can keep listening to over and over without getting bored of it, i then form the storyboard of the amv in my head and then impliment it. so with my amvs i always know just what i want to put down so that i never get bogged down or get discouraged.
