Dual Signatures

Post by Streicher » Mon May 14, 2007 5:37 pm

Opera does not seem to display them correctly, wich breaks the layout (similar to oversized images):

Firefox displays them correctly but displays a gap inbetween two *x40 sigs.

My proposal for solution would be to get rid of that rule that only allows *x40 Signatures.
Instead allow

two *x40 (as it is now)

or optional instead of them,

one (1) *x80 signature.

That should display correctly on all browsers. And make everyone happy.

sometimes it shows the gap on mine sometimes not... but i donno i dont see a problem with an either/or situation like you said... O.o makes sense to me since people are going to "stitch" them together anyways

If I remember correctly, they show up properly as long as they've got and around them. Heck, I'm using Opera 8 right now, and *your* dual signature shows up properly. :P

As Scintilla said: instead of having the two images on the same line, put them on seperate lines, then add the and around them to remove the small gap that appears between them if you have them on seperate lines.

eg:

as opposed to:

Which in some cases would cause the thread page to stretch to fit in both images side by side, instead of layered on top of one another.
