Hybrid Video's

What do people think about doing AMVs with footage from the actual real life artists video for their song included in the AMV? Do you think this would make a great effect if mixed together properly?

i think it depends on how clean your source is and how much youre willing to integrate it into your video..

ive seen it both badly done (several videos) and well done (jihaku)

It isnt perfect, but he did a good job at mixing together the slipknot original video to his own video, well synced and good video quality.
