You misunderstand, I am not complaining I am just worried, robert was an awesome guy and if hes no longer alive I think it would be good to know so I dont have to spend the rest of my life asking that question whenever I stumble upon one of his old videos in my catalog.

Ive been on gaia since it started, the trick is to make your own thread and then boot anyone out you dislike :] gives you a nice little friends base in gaia.

The only AMV guilds I saw on Gaia were horrible ones. But if Pilk's on Gaia, then.. -searches for him-

AMV guilds on Gaia? I question the quality of AMV coming out of the average Gaia user ^_^; So I hope he has above-average Gaia users. I gave the site a shot, but I just felt stupid on it. There really wasn't much in the way of games worth playing, the chat interface isn't really conducive to holding conversations, and the forums is mostly people spamming for the posting gold. (Not to mention the convos go so quickly that it's hard to keep up with anything)

Second time saying this, but gaia is such a massive forum just going into your every-day gaia citizen forum wont get you what gaia truly can offer, you have to find your niche and stick to it. I suggest if you go on their to open up your own thread and talk to people on your own terms, there are some cool people on gaia :p there just few and far between.

Indeed, I've been on Gaia for over 3 years... I'm probably the biggest gaiafag on AMV. Hell, I cosplayed my avatar at AWA last year, and for the last two years wore a badge. Thankfully, no one really noticed, although I do get a few comments about how stupid/childish Gaia is.

Which is true... In some of the forums. xP
I hang out mostly in Computers & Technology, a guild or two, and Profile Discussion. So most of the people in those forums know what they're talking about. xP

Hell, I built my computer with help formt he people in C&T.

But anyway, back to the AMV Guild(s).

Did a search the other day, and found out Mr. Pilkington didn't make his own guild, he took over the old one that I used to be in(but quit because no one there had any talent. And coming from ME, well, that's sayign something).

If Pilk can actually find talented people in that guild, props to him. But my bet is on him quitting after 2 -3 months.

Anyone know Dethmajor's Gaia name?

lol, yeah I built a computer by reading the manual that came with the motherboard

computers are easy, cars on the other hand... are hard. (trying to restore a '76 mustang right now).

As far as I know dethmajor never went on gaia, I think he would've thought it childish.

It's just the Gaia forum is so massive that they need way more mods than they have. I mean, the anime talk forum is filled with a thousand naruto and bleach tpics, and then even more 'avatar' forums.

And you can hardly keep track of your thread you're posting in, because as soon as you post in it, it's already bumped off to the second or third page. :/
