climbing... there are two porters behind mama. For the 13 american tourists in our group, there were 21 peruvian staff to take us up the trail. most of them were porters (people to carry supplies and extra luggage) and camp setter-uppers. there was also a chef and his culinary assistants, and our tour guides, Nancy and Sergio.
