Stereo:Typical Bleach Action - Anything but common.
An AMV I began working on completely by accident when I began to show my nephew how I make my music videos. The song choice was on a whim--I didn't mean to choose it, and the fact that it was a techno breakbeat had me scouring my folders for something "better" to use...but after a minute or two, I sensed that I was taking too long and decided to just use "Stereo:Typical" as my choice for an example. Me and my nephew are impatient people, y'see.
But boy was I surprised! A random grab at the clips I had uploaded proved to fit the beginning of the song so well that I realized I had a gem on my hands. The uncanny chemistry I discovered between the Bleach clips and this song was nothing short of miraculous.
...Now, I won't lie to you. I used Windows Movie Maker for this video, and I had a HELL of a time dealing with all the glitches that came from special effects and general editing. If I had the funds (and a better computer) I'd buy a better editing program in a heartbeat. But considering how big a nightmare the program was, and how SLOW my computer is, I just have to say that the end result was...wow.

The deluxe version of magix is only something like $50..., not to mention I've seen some really good videos made with wmm, so the program isn't a very good excuse. I thought this video had a lot of potential, I'm rather fond of bleach, and I liked the music, but there's so much that didn't get synced to that would have made this easily one of my favorite videos of 07.
If your interested, I'll go into a full op with suggestions.

Yeah, if you could do that (the suggestions I mean) I'd REALLY appreciate it!Orwell wrote:The deluxe version of magix is only something like $50..., not to mention I've seen some really good videos made with wmm, so the program isn't a very good excuse. I thought you did a pretty good job on the AMV, but like Orwell said, there were too many times where you could have synched (and should've) that you didn't. But since the song is pretty long its sort of understandable but maybe you should've shortened it then?

Lol, I already did shorten it. I took off a minute, but I guess I could've done more. There were some scenes that I could've shortened/cropped out all together.Dark Confusion wrote:I thought you did a pretty good job on the AMV, but like Orwell said, there were too many times where you could have synched (and should've) that you didn't.
