Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Hint 1: If you don't have download link do not announce... If you are uploading it to another site, then you should announce once it is uploaded, otherwise you are wasting time of people who come to this topic.
Hint 2: Making videos day after day will drive off people who would give you any good critique (improvement means you spend some more time and effort on the vid that few hours) and will get you more and more flamers, so you really should consider spending some more time and putting one good vid in a while, rathen then a bunch of half-baked pieces of fail.
Hint 3: Do some editing perhaps? Putting clips without any cuts, just to fill the whole track isn't what making amv is about ya know? I actually can't critisize you on mistakes in sync cuz.. there was no sync at all, yay :O I cannot say anything about mood, cuz.. there was no mood at all , another yay :O flow? nope. effects? nope. ermm lip sync ? nope. So there is liek completely no connection between music and video? woot ! And on top of that for half of this vid it was too dark to see what's going on? this is just so fail.. :<

since you made it your view isn't really objective. Contrary to what you may think, there are a lot of things wrong with this video (and it did suck </blunt>).
you used a song with lots of energy and exitement, but your clips were slow moving, hard to see, and unsynced.
you reused footage, the amv is only 3:16 long...and with the pace of your editing there is no excuse for footage reuse.
the audio ends but the video keeps going for a few seconds. This comes off as tacky/lazy.
you hardly did any editing. This felt like watching an episode of the series which was poorly timed to music. Anyone can take an episode of any series and put it to any song and call it an amv. It takes talent, decidation and patience (among other things) to take a video and audio source and tell your own story (or re-tell all/part of the story of the series)
a few tips for the future:

Listen to what people are telling you, sit down and take more time to make your amvs. (in the end you will be more satisfied with the result) Quality >> quantity

Don't use a dartboard to decide what anime/song combo you want to use. Think about it for awhile.

Use shorter clips. As a general rule, people like more sync, and shorter clips will make it easier to sync more. Too much sync can be just as bad as too little, but I don't think that'l really be a problem here.

Sync, sync and more sync. I can't stress this enough, sync is important. It gives the impression that you care about your work and usually makes it more fun to watch. Start by changing clips on the beat, and then go from there

try using clips from various places in the series instead of all from one or two episodes

60 MB for 3:16 in .mp4 is really big, take some more time to go through this. it'l tell you everything you wanted to know (and more) about the various encoding paramaters
the audio doesn't need to be at 320kb/s (from experience, most of the mp3 audio here is at 128kb/s. this is usually fine...unless you happen to be an audiophile)... meGUI can encode you audio to AAC, take advantage of it
look through these videos and/or this
think about what makes these videos "good" and the differences between those videos and your own

mmmmm
I'm really a "soft" person when it comes to re-view someone is work, but I must say that this sucked :/. Even my first AMV had more editing than this (and my first one was horrible
).
Tips?
well you have made AMVs like crazy, right?. Make more, really that will made you stop at some point, when that happens watch the AMVs from the 10% (all time) list and the ones from the VCA, then compare them to your AMVs and well I hope you will be smart wnough to say: "man, my AMVs sucks, I should improve to make something like that one day". I hope you will listen to what the others say too, since even if they sound kinda harsh, their tips REALLY WORKS!!!
Anyway if you take this in mind then good for you, if not, then good for you too :/
