I really wish their contest was ran better. If I finish my video I will submit it again this year. I only wish they accepted digital format. All it requires is to set a limit on what formats are acceptable. And Im tired of the bullshit that they dont want to deal with putting up with formats, they set limits to VHS so they can damn sure set a limit on formats. Also I think they should set it so that they have a better system set up to display the videos. Hell they should just hook up a laptop and play the files off Media Player, anythings better than VHS on EP mode.

Oh and the Hentai contest is just music videos made with Hentai footage. Currently I believe that MJ is current ruling party in that area.

Well they're accepting Dvds and VCDs but I dont know how much better its gonna be. They still might put all the final videos on VHS. According to their newsletter, next year they are planning to begin digital submissions.

Now that I know a little bit more about AMVs (specifically: how hard a good one is to pull off!), I'll probably be way more critical of the AMV contest (if I'm not half-asleep...like I was at A-Kon 12).

Hopefully I get to go...hopefully....I'll know by, oh, two weeks before...makes pre-registration a pain, but at least I know I have a place to sleep (been offered, already).

I'm goin for the KAOS Room (plan on gettin my ass in a tournement!) and/or to spend about $400 on anime/manga. Yes, I have no life, except a girlfriend. Other than that, I'm a sad,sad human. Aren't we all?
