They have come up with their on campus housing deal again. For $125 you get a weekend pass and two nights stay in a dorm room right next to the con. Check in the forum, news tread at http://sogencon.com/ for details. You do need to leave a refundable deposit for the room keys. Last year some people didn't return the keys so they had to go this route.
Last year it was such a small con that we got to really get to know the guests. It was great fun, even with all the startup problems they had. The guest list is great and Greg Ayres is going to Dj the dance again, the guy really rocks, last year he blew a circuit breaker in the amp system.
It may be on the far side of nowhere right at the end of the world, but it's worth the trip.
