What in your opinion is the best rivalry in anime?
For example: cloud and sephiroth or spike and vicious and etc.

Griffith and Gats, Kamui and Fuma (especially), Goku and Vegeta, Jubei Kimagami and Gamma, Tetsuo and Kaneda, hmmmm can't think of any more for the moment.

Well, if we ever get inot Digimon, how about Matt and Tai or TK and Davis? not much actual rivalry, but they go against eachother once in awhile.

I too must say that Garylisk is right.

But this is given the fact that the ultimate rivals need not necessarily be enemies (for long) and are often more similar than they would like to admit, exactly Aeka and Ryoko.

And I know people will argue that Aeka and Ryoko are completely different and they are, but notice how when the chips are down, both of them become very similar (and they often do temporary team ups).

Guess we'll have to wait for the new OAV's.

But yeah this thread is dead. or is it?
