Has anybody seen Hellsing

Hellsing is one of my favorite animes but its pretty short. The best episode is to me is eps 6 Dead Zone. This is the first time you see Walter fight with his weapon of choice, string. You wouldnt think he could do much but after you see him slice up his enemies with strings you would thing he is the best character on the show because he is also very fast. But later in thee show you see Allacard release his demon form and devour his opponent making Walter again look like a weakling alone with everybody elese in the show.

What are your favorite eps/scenes?

I seen all 13 episodes and there is a roomer going around there is a season 2 in production.

It's not season 2, but there is an OVA coming out, based more on the manga. The trailer was freaking awesome. O_O

OOOOOO, I had heard about the OAV, but I haven't seen the trailer. Do you have a link to that?

One of my favorite parts in Hellsing (I have many) is when Ceras Victoria goes nutzo on those ghouls. She's such a wimp most of the time. The manga is even cooler, though.

Yes, and there is going to be a second season. Each ep will be about 35 mins long in OAV format. I've heard this will be a total retelling of Hellsing, which is fine for me. It would be kinda hard to continue with anime but stay true to the manga (like they've proposed) otherwise.

Just because its going to be a OAV doesn't mean it will be only a few episodes either btw.

I enjoyed the fights between Anderson and Alucard, I'll look forword to seeing them redone as well.

Retelling? The worst part of helsing is the story. They'd best get rid of it alltogeather and fill things up with more crazy ass action.

That's why they're retelling it. And I actually liked some of the plot elements, like coming to grips with being a vampire...

I really enjoyed the soundtracks for Hellsing. I may have even liked it better than the Cowboy Bebop soundtracks

Agreed the Hellsing soundtrack is wicked and works so well with the action in the anime.

Also I'm looking forward to the retelling. The anime was great but they changed alot. The even changed how a human gets turned into a vampire (has to be a virgin when bitten, otherwise becomes a ghoul) to the more usual blood swapping method.
