FLCL: what is you're favorite part?
my favorite parts are the manga ones. where everything is over exagerated. Like when takkun screams" AHHHHHHHH THE VESPA WOMEN"
I am the bringer of misfortune, the person who made you wet you're bed 8 years ago, I am the queen of the damned. BELIEVE IT MORTAL!

I actually love every single frame of FLCL, so it's hard to pick a favorite part. However, the scene in the barbershop in episode 5, where Haruko thrashes all of Amarao's "agents" or whatever with her guitar/machine gun... that's on my top list of greatest scenes ever in animated film. It deserves a special place in the history books of anime.

There's just too much in FLCL to love.
But I'm especially fond of basically any scene in Episode 6 that has Naota and Haruko together, especially the scene in Naota's room after the manga sequence, and basically everything after Naota's confession at the end of the big action sequence (trying to phrase it so as not to spoil anything), from there to the end of the episode. I found them quite moving.
Don't get me wrong, the comedy is great. But it's the story, and the moments of it like those, that really make this series for me.
(Why do I feel compelled to say something like this every time there's a FLCL thread?...)

While there's a LOT of quality scenes in this show, I'm still a sucker for some of the moments from episode 5...most notably:
-The dialogue in the John Woo movie ("Where are all these birds coming from?!?")
-Kamon's Lupin outfit ("You prefer the green one? Hmm? The Castle of Cagliostro look? ... I had no idea you were such a preppy...anyway, Monkey-sensei prefers the red...and even if he says otherwise, there's no way we can change that now, is there?")
Or the entire phone conversation, as Amarao lapses between 'serious' animation, and South Park mode

I really suck at deciding about "Something I like best", especially in this case where I like everything

But to be a little more on-topic, I'll have to say that my favourite moments are mostly in the last part of the show in episodes 5 and 6 where the "FLCL feeling" gets stronger and nears the climax(corn).
P.S. I shouldn't write in forums when it's 5 pm...

Oh, boy, The Eyebrow Scene. That's it for me. Well, that and when Takun's father tries to jump Haruko, only to be 'put out' by her springing punching bag crotch.
he..hehe

Now, don't feel bad. It's not you, it's me. I Don't Like You. -.-
