Kikaider
It's been a while since this was shown on Cartoon Network, but I really enjoyed the story of Kikaider and the "atmosphere" that for some reason reminded me of Cowboy Bebop. I think I linked the two because of Spike's sadness concerning his relationship with Julia and Kikaider's just, well, being sad, I guess. I thought it was strange that anyone would dislike Kikaider, as it was brought up here. So who does like it....?

I didn't really care for the character designs, but that isn't the reason I didn't like the the anime.
The concepts of Kikaider were good, but the way they were carried out weren't. The series should have been longer so it could have explained things better (some things weren't meant to be explained but many things needed to be elaborated on).
I hated Prof. Gil. Probably one of the worst villians I've ever seen. There really wasn't any depth to him, as a character.

I thought the art style was similar, and I like both of those animes. I do agree that the series should have been longer to flesh out some of the story though...agelesslorg wrote:i loved that show!It was made by the creator of cyborg 009.
