I don't really think they're bootlegs. I suppose its possible, but it just doesn't seem like they are. They sell the same stuff you find on many websites and in many stores, and appear to be a fairly successful business. If they sold bootlegs, I doubt they would have very many people buying from them. Its just not logical.
It even matches the stuff on TV. I'll give you an example. I bought a Rurouni Kenshin DVD set there. Its the last half of of the show, which consists of the end of the second season, and all of the third season. Now, on TV, the show went through the end of the second season, and end of that season provided on the DVD set and the end of it on TV were identical (except for the stuff they edit out of TV).
To further imphasize my point that it is the real thing, heres another example. Before I had bought the DVD set, I had bought a DVD in the store. This lone DVD contained the last five episodes of Kenshin. Once again, the episodes matched up very well. I guess its possible that other anime doesn't match up, but I doubt it.
Now that covers a bootleg as meaning something that is not the actual movie or show or whatever. It doesn't necessarily cover a bootleg as meaning something that is not the original product. It might be that someone had the original copy, and then copied it or something to that effect. That is a possibility, but who actually knows.
As far as I'm concerned, its good enough for me. If I knew for certain that they were selling bootlegs, I wouldn't support them. But there really any way of knowing that. mean, how do you know the stuff in your local store isn't a bootleg.
So for now, I will buy Anime there and I reccomend it to anyone else. They sell a lot of Anime and they sell it cheap. For me, it has proven itself to be a reputable site. So once again...
