Peacemaker Kurogane
Peacemaker Kurogane is an anime set in the Meiji era of japaneese history. It's about a boy and his brother who have joined the Shinsengumi to avenge their parent's deaths. This anime also highlights the eve of the Chosou movement.
Comparisons to Kenshin are unavoidable. These include an effeminite swordmaster, appearences by Hajime Saito(shinsengumi years), and the main character that is almost like Yahiko.

Try watching it before you compare.
It is nothing like Kenshin. Nothing. Maybe the setting but that's it. You must be out of your mind to compare it with Kenshin.
It's like comparing 'Dragon Heart' and 'First Knight' just because of the fact that Sean Connery plays a role and the setting is Medieval.

I never claimed it was Kenshin. I would be the first point out the different political POVs between PMK and RK.
ps: I recently saw RK: Tsuioku Hen. There is a character called Soushi Okita

oOn second thought. I will say that similarities are coincidental.Comparisons to Kenshin are unavoidable

I didn't mean to sound mean, my bad
.
Yes, they are similar in some ways. Not only is it different in its political Point of Views, but also the story, plot, themes and concepts as well.
IMHO, the character development sucks in PMK. Like, bad.
