Which words do they use the most? (baka, nane', oro)?
I've been watching a lot of anime lately, and in almost every episode someones at least onces says one of these words.
Oro? (confusion) (kenshin says it the most?)
Baka/Bakaro (idiot, moron, stupid/ you are stupid, you are an idiot)
Nane' (sp?) Nandaro? (what?) (Naurto says it the most)?
Was just wondering which one was used the most by certain characters. I know Naurto says Bakaro and Nane a lot and all the other characters usually say Nane'
Also which one the words do u use the most?
I like to call people bakaro and say nane` every now and then just for the fun of it.
Also seen kuso (sp?) a lot but won't post the definition for that w0rd. (don't say it in a japanese restraunt) especially don't say Bakaro Kuso (think that's right isn't it?)

"Oro" - I haven't watched Kenshin and haven't come across it in conversation so I don't know much about this word.
"Baka" - The word for idiot/fool etc, it's used by many characters and, I assume, people in japan
"Yaro" - I think this is a rude way of saying "you" although not in the same way as "kisama". "Yaro" is added on after "kuso" or "baka" to make damn you or you idiot respectively. I have heard it on its own once in a while though.
"Nani" - one of the ways of saying "what?" in Japanese, said countless times in Anime.

I'm bored and you're dumb. A match made in heaven.

The other version of "oro" which is ara is used much much more in anime. Usually it is attached to a feminine character *cough* misume Otohima *cough*.
Its hard to judge which is used more since here in American we think of these terms as "token". But in japanese these are just common terms. So its only natural that these terms pop up all the time in anime.
I agree with Koji in the area that nani would be used the most since it's translated as a loose definition of "what". Ara or Oro isn't used all too often, and baka being a harsh insult is used very little.

In Naurto it's used as a light insult (something like calling someone moron)baka being a harsh insult is used very little.
but in other anime's such as Dbz, Yu Yu Hakusho, it's takin a bit more seriously. I still haven't seen any one charge up after being called baka.
Kuso I think is the strongest insult, correct?

Definitely depends on the genre of anime.
Oy, Ah, Nn, Hn, Ch Che or K'so (short for chikushou, meaning damn it), and Eh are all typical of anime that revolve around crude or rude male characters.
Baka tends to get used as an insult, but in most anime I've seen, it was done to make the viewer laugh (YYH - Kuwa goes ballistic every time Hiei calls him that).
Nani is pretty common, but most of the ones I've seen say it were male and it was used almost as a curse word - like wtf?!. Nan desu ka gets used by the females more often (again, in the anime I've seen).
With the girls you get other sounds, but I haven't watched enough shoujo anime to really mark similarities. I know arigato (or arigatou) gets said in ever female anime I've ever seen, and hai (yes) is everywhere (though again - the males in the anime I've watched tend to say 'aah' or 'Ah' rather than a regular 'hai' for affirmative. And just check any hentai - the word iya (no) is probably most prevalent. ^_^;;
