A mystery about our hero, Goku

I was thinking about the series DragonBall Z today, and noticed a very odd pattern when it came to Goku. He's normally called the hero in this anime, but he doesn't exactly have the "hero résumé" so to say. Why you ask? To the best that I can think, Goku's never beaten killed his opppent, nor beaten them. And I'm talking about the major bad guys, not all the minor ones. Also, this little theory only exists for the show right now, because I'm pretty sure Goku kills Dr. Willow and Cooler... (that I know of so far)

I'm sure I can be proven wrong somewhere in the anime, so help me out here!

He was killed against Raditz.
Vegeta was the one who killed Nappa.
Vegeta got away.
None of the Ginyu Force were really killed by Goku, they were kinda unconscious (proven because Vegeta later punishes the barely living Ginyu Force when they are liying on the fround lifeless).
Captain Ginyu never really got killed.
Freeza lived through the first time.
Later Freeza was killed by Trunks.
Same with King Cold.
Goku suffered from the heart disease against the Androids.
Goku quit against Cell.
He didn't really try against Buu the first time.
But wait! Did he actually beat Buu himself in the very end?!?! I think he did... but then again, he did revive him as Uub...

Gokuu slaughtered Tambourine (who killed Kuririn.. his first death), and yeah, he was the one who ultimately killed Majin (Chibi) Buu with the Genki-Dama.

Gokuu prefers NOT to kill people, when he can get away with it ^^

nice grammer jedi ... but what can you say ... are you talking about the dubs that are played on tv in NA or uncut subs? if the dubs then theres a reason why goku never killed anything. subs ... well what can i say, i never saw all of DB.

Well, so what? There are a lot of fairly pacifistic heros out there who tend to dislike killing. And I'll second (or is it third at this point?) that Goku aint my hero.

lol, ok, so we'll call him "that guy that most people hate because they hate the series". Any better?

I unfortuntely have to go with what I know, which is the dubbed version. If you know of any points that are in the original, but are hidden in the dub, feel free to share.

Ya, sorry about that Propyro. I guess it pays to use that preview button once in awhile. This line "Goku's never beaten killed his opppent, nor beaten them" was meant as "Goku's never killed his opppents, nor beaten them".

Oh, and VegettoEX, who is Tambourine? The name doesn't ring a bell at all. Was this in a movie? If it was, then it already goes against my theory, but I'm still curious about the character himself.

He's from the original Dragonball series, which is around 5 bajillion times better then Z, and Goku basically beat everyone in that one. I'm surprised no one brought that up yet.
