When you think of a certain Final Fantasy VI character, what anime characters do you think of?

I'm trying to help some people get ideas for the FFVI Character Project

personality wise they are nothing alike

Things are now different: instead of the editor choosing the anime it's me. Some of the characters have been given animes already, but there are still a few characters that I'm unsure of, so the list so far is this:
Cyan = Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin)
Setzer = Lupin (Lupin The Third)
Edgar/Sabin = Terry & Andy (Fatal Fury)
Mog = Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro)
Umaro = *Need Suggestions*
Gogo = Kanoko (Love Hina Again)
Gau = *Need Suggestions*
Celes/Locke = Van & Hitomi (Escaflowne)
Terra = *Need Suggestions*
Relm = *Need Suggestions*
Shadow = D (Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust)
Strago = Master Roshi (Dragonball/DragonballZ)

Umaro, Gau, Terra and Relm are the ones that need characters now. Thanks to those who suggested some names so far though.

Here's two ideas for you.

Umaro = Sasquatch (Night Warriors)
Relm = Sasami

Hmmm, for an anime character to represent Terra has to be somewhat mysterious and/or a magic user. I'm thinking along the lines of D from Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure or Rei from Evangelion.

Rei's mysteriousness works for Terra, it's just the theme of it doesn't work all that well. The song goes from being very soft and extremely sad to somewhat satisfied and a sound that kinda puts a smile on your face.
You'd have to listen to the theme to get what I'm saying I guess.

UPDATES (AGAIN!?)

NEED ANIMES FOR...
Edgar/Sabin (The editor dropped and the anime didn't fit as well as I liked)
Terra (Maybe Rei?)
Umaro (Maybe Sasquatch?)

We still be needing lots of editors as well
