What do you look for in an anime site?

WHAT'S UP PEOPLE OF AMV!!

Holy Vampire here, I haven't put up a post in a while and I bet some people are saying "Who is he? And he's put posts up?!" but anyway. For the people that do know me and for the people have spiked me for my signature saying that my site is comming in 2004. I want to know from everyone What do you look for in an anime site? I am creating a brand new anime site that will evolve; this is one of the things that will seprate my site from other anime sites. so I'm asking you to help the revolution, grant it I won't be able to please everyone but I will try to do all in my power to make it a reality.

There is no way that your site will be any different from any of the rest because almost everything has been done and the things that haven't are just dumb ideas that would suck. And for god sake man its coming not comming or if you want to be naughty cumming.

MMmmmm an anime site...................

Well first try to specialize, if you try embrace anime as a whole you'll drown in the endless sea of anime realted stuff

Post Short concise summaries or opinions (not many opinions cause when there are too many nobody reads em'),

Include high quality (or at least reasonable quality) OPs and Eds of all the series you review

Just write anything that is anime in your world, and it will fine, and post any funny link pic wav mp3 or cool forums you find, that should do it

And make the navigation of your site as simple as posible with BIG buttons for important frequently viewed stuff, and smaller buttons for more trivial things, make it as simple as posible!!

What do I look for?

A total lack of enthrallment with Dragonball Z.
A layout that is simple to read, without being cluttered by frames, clashing color schemes, etc.

No bells and whistles like embedded sounds, MIDIs or overuse of animated GIFs

Actual fresh content over the long term, instead of a "What's New" page that mostly consists of promised content that never appears or apologies for lack of anything new (and three-month old apologies at that)

Good spelling and grammar (using stuff like "comming" makes you look like a amateur)

That'll do for a start.

Hey all,

Its coming not comming, it was a typo alright I apologize to all the people who have been emotionally scared by the traumatic event.

And when it comes to adding hentai to my site that is going to be review by me and the other revolutionaries. But I can assure you that some type of fanservice will be added on to the site. Please continue to help the revolution with your CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, thanks all.

that spelling mistake made me lose sleep,
first girlfriend left me,
then my mother died.
now this!!! oooh, why douth thou spite me so??

What i look for, random things, lots of large amounts on Data. I like to know how many eps are in each series, release dates, if there good or not, maybe a few wallpapers with links to other sites about that anime.

And not just one review one person. Alot of people rave about Cowboy Bebop which didn't thrill me why alot of people bag Noir which did. (i fear the coyboy beebop thing was thanks to people raving about it and i watched it and was like.. oh that it?)
Links to soundtracks, forums.. a nice few graphics (I like to change wallpapers as i change animes) shit like that which takes up alot of time and space...

MP3s and episode summaries. They can be pretty helpful for AMV making. Although the first is obviously morally wrong.

Episode summaries are helpful when you can't for the life of you remember which episode in a series had a particular scene you want to use in your AMV.
