What manga/show/movie [got you into anime?]

I was semi-kidding about that last part. Hence the
It simply bugs me that thats one of the few fantasy series that people will even look at. My own sister for instance found the genre as a whole "pretty dumb" as she put it. Then she gets Harry Potter....oh sure she won't read anything else, in fact those are the only books she owns and she won't read anything else....
Oh, and that one British girl was teh hawt.
