Though the spelling did change from subber to subber, and translator to translator, I seen the name Gatts more than Gats.

I just like the way Gatts sounds over Gutts. Gutts sounds like some kind of crude nickname while Gatts sounds more like a primal (maybe old or savage would have been a better tearm) name...
whatever... i think you get where i'm going ... though i suppose on the official translation they call him Gutts ... they have to do it the way i'm not used to it ... it's kinda like a law ...

Considering his childhood, It makes perfect sense for him to be called GUTS.Propyro wrote:I just like the way Gatts sounds over Gutts. Gutts sounds like some kind of crude nickname while Gatts sounds more like a primal (maybe old or savage would have been a better tearm) name...

But I do like the "Gatsu" pronunciation better.
I like bugging people. Deal with it.

whoa!
*steers thread back on course.
Ok, about this whole issue: I have a feeling that kakashi might be (even unintentionally) correct. An announcement WAS made, and one other person even brought forth additional information. It was also stated that the powers to be WANT to make a second season, but have yet to get the ball rolling (info from Sept, not the latest obviously). Yes it might seem strange that this news came from an american distributor, but its possible that on the japanese side the contracted company might have marketing reasons to keep this project fairly low profile (as it is still a long way off). Meanwhile, the dubbing side, who is (obviously) NOT making this anime, has little reason to hide the details they have been given. Their mentality very well could have been: "I mean, the details are pretty sketchy anyway, how much could it hurt?"
Thats what I see in this thread. Even if this information is legitimate, that would mean this project is in the basic early stages and can be easily cancelled or otherwise shelved. We're just going to have to wait a little while to find out for sure. So calm down people. As funny as it was when Chang called kakashi a retard, we dont need that right now. We need more information. I'm personally not very skeptical. I'm holding out a lot of hope. I dont think I can say I've seen any anime that more desperately needing a second season more than Berserk.

Frankly, any new aditions to the berserk series I'd examine with great scrutiny. They did a good job with the old one and with the way anime is being handled nowadays it would probably be a low budget production with tons of repeated frames and poorly drawn charaters colored with a PSP floodfill. If they make a new one, it should be an OVA or movie and spare no expense.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

Care to translate your little equation Einstein?

well what did you think of what I had to say? Was it a keen insight or the insane ravings of a lunatic mind?
