My parents are thinking of moving to Ottawa, and I'm still considering whether to try and transfer there. So, for all you know, I may be a student at either UO or Carleton next year

No, I'm not trying to intimidate you...

Well then, there you go. Definitely Azumanga Daioh.IcyCloud wrote:There's an ad by ADV in September's Newtype for both the Full Metal Panic and Azumanga Daioh manga (although I'm not sure if it's the same compilation you're referring to). The Full Metal Panic manga is already out, so I'd assume Azumanga will also be out pretty soon.kthulhu wrote:If there were English versions of the Azumanga Daioh compilations (which I sadly doubt), I'd DEFINITELY say go for that, too.
Oh man...forgot about that chapter...(not to mention the inspection *shudders*)Pierrot Le Fou wrote:Yeah and that transvestite that Spike meets in prison....Heero_Yuy84 wrote:
plus, the Bebop manga (both original and Shooting Star) could work (a bit of swearing, and some violence, but otherwise good)
That's why Clamp is the BEST. They can make anything CUTE in ANY situation (even the charaters from X looked cute).dwchang wrote:Card Captor Sakura?
The show that has:
A) A cousin who loves her other cousin (to the point of obsession).

3) She films the other cousin and watches the tapes by herself.
B) A teacher dating his student.

2) It's apparent this relationship might be sexual.
C) Another teacher that had sex with her student.
1) The student was in middle school and less than 15 years old.
D) The main character's love interest is a guy who is 2x her age.
1) And is having relations with her brother (i.e. homosexual).
E) A show about pedophelia.
1) CCS was ranked the #1 show among men over the age of 30 in Japan.
2) Do you mean to tell me that you really think all this (above) is really all innocent and cute?
3) This is CLAMP we're talking about. They're known to have issues.
My suggestion would be anything from studio Ghibli other than Mononoke Hime since that has some violence. Namely Totoro, Laputa, Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service.
