Gundam - G-Unit vols 1 & 2 (my non-existent kingdom for one of the local stores to carry vol. 3 already...I know it's out, stop mocking me!!!)

I always try to buy the Japanese versions cuz they screw with the covers on the english versions. *coughUtenacough*

no, but if I found a Macross manga I'd snatch it up in a heart beat course I probly wouldn't read it... readings not my thing, used to be into comics though but that was before manga became popular (95, maybe before it was even in existance).

All my manga is original Japanese. Last English manga I bought was Evangelion. Couldn't dig it. I think kanji is more appealing to my eye than English in a text bubble or sound effect (since the last thing I want to picture in my mind is an awesome manga with a TERRIBLE dub-job courtesy of MY HEAD).

Anyway here's what I got:

Berserk 1-4, 11-24 (and 25 transcans... as soon as I head back to NY I'm buyin that sucker!)
Kare Kano 1-15 (Dude, Arima is sick. Duh.)
Maze 1-5
Vagabond 1
Some other manga by the DB guy 1
Samurai Deeper Kyo 1 (b-day present. No, I really didn't just go out and get this)
Not Love Hina but some series the author did that basically also sucks since it's just another Video Girl Ai clone.
Angelic Layer 1-4
Legend of the Three Swords 3

I think the best part about all this is that most of it only cost me $4. All the Berserk I have I could have paid $8 for at Kinokuniya, but the wonder that is BOOKOFF saved my life. If you ever come to NY, you must find this store. Manga manga manga... hell, even porn manga. Some artbooks upstairs too. But more importantly, the holy $1 manga section. Takes up an entire side. It is glorious.

ok, i'm not going to read through the other two pages of posts ... no time.

The only manga i own is teh manga at the back of the booklet for volume 1 of flcl ... i wan't to start though ... i've been thinking of Startign with love hina or somethign like that. Maybe Eva ... if the comic shop would ever have volume one of either series in stock ...
