I actually haven't completed the demo yet but from what I can see it's basically her lost in her own little world. Does not necessitate a mental problem, there are perfectly fine people who demonstrate the same sort of [otherworldly] mentality. Might also have to do with the fact that she's an artist. Now Kenji, on the other hand, he has issues...

Well I've already though about how it might be her personality (before I got the idea that it might be a mental problem), but there's too much that doesn't fit. It'd be easier to explain if you'd actually beaten Rin's path in the demo. She isn't lost in her own world, she is very much in our world, she apparently can only think of 4 things at the same time.

When she tells you that she says she is thinking about

Can i ask if there's going to be a part in the version which explains what Rin was doing in the town during the Lilly route? Other than being "mysterious" and weird and all, i was hoping for a serious answer

Rin was going shopping, but the thing slipped from her mind.

Well, we shall see exactly what mental state Rin's mind is in when the full game is released, I presume. I will continue with Rin's route but I doubt my position on the matter will be changed since I've known people and character's with this sort of mysteriously odd aura and no mental deficiency was attributed as to being a cause.

Lilly's only disability is being blind and yet she's there. Although I have suspected there might be more wrong with Kenji than stated...
