At least it is with me

Thanx! I was afraid that someone would flame me for saying that.hobogenesis wrote:Don't worry about offending somebody,

You mean you won't read Love Hina!???Tono_Fyr wrote: I don't like MTV at all, and I'm appaulled at Tokyopop for advertising there. I refuse to supporty anything they put out other than Psychic Academy (funny series, but I've fallen seriously behind on my manga as of late..)
i may be contradicting myself here. but that's the worst possible fucking reason to avoid manga, dislike aspects of it, whatever.Tono_Fyr wrote:Bad because all the idiots get to as well, and I have to listen to them harp about it, and get grouped in with the dumbasses.
Manga has become a pop-culture thing.... I saw a middle schooler reading one of those damn "teen girl" (you know, the crapy pointless ones) that said "Why you should care about manga" at the top. I put my head down and pretended not to notice. Ever since I saw that article, the girl and another girl have been swapping poorly drawn copies between one another. It's pissing me off. I'm considering doing a special re-reading of Escaflowne on the bus (the manga is violent, has lots of swearing and nudity) just to attract their attention and lend myself an opening to shoot them down.
I won't stop liking anime if it becomes trendy, because trends eventually die. I'll keep liking it as long as more good stuff keeps comming out. I'm just going to get continually more pissed at these damn kids.
