"The Perfect Collection"
"The Platinum Collection"
or "The 10th Anniversary Edition Collection?"

Arrrgh, so many to choose from!

hmmm i was going to get the the box set too... but i ended up buying the origionals from japan all episodes on 3 cds nice i say..

And I got custom made eva DVD's (it has all the stuff that the platinum box set has) that I made using nero vision express 3. lol O_o

why would you buy this? over the years i have seen sooo many "sets" of this. I was still in elementary school when i first heard about it and now who the fuck cares. obviously somebody does and ADV's CEO knows it too.

there's nothing to update.... it has no graphics in it, nothing remarkable, its 1996 cel drawings... there's really nothing to do. you use high definition with things that were created in high def. upscaling resolution or raising the quality of something that didn't have quality to begin with is pointless. anyone with an hd tv knows this.

OK wow! But even the movies!? I had to get region 2 to get the remastered version of that and manga has the rights to the movies but they have not yet released it remastered. Can ADV release the movies in high quality, will manga release them ever.. I haven't read much about this so don't get mad at me.. so these are "HD DVDs" for "HD DVD" players correct.. again.. I'm just typing all this after reading very little.
