Oh for christ sakes stop being so over dramatic. Its not like japanese companies dont produce crap also. You act like once this live version is made all the originals are gonna be destroyed and you can only see the live action version now. If its bad then nothing really changes and you still got the old. If its good then you got something cool to watch. Basically, you have nothing to really loose here, so why are you acting like this is the fucking apocolyspe. Just dont go see it OK. You werent born with the right not to hear about bad movies being made.Lyrs wrote:Members of the Org,
We stand here as a testament to the evils of American companies. It saddens me to see such great classics go to the pile. It is of greatest importance that this event shall come to pass swiftly and begone.
But we must have hope, for maybe, there is a chance that this one project will come through without too large of a problem.
Let us all pray that Akira does not burn in purgatory for the evils of others.

And since were on the subject of remakes though, I just gotta say, the new Akira dub sucked. What gives, even with the slight mis-pronunciation of certian words, I liked the old one so much better. However, the new one does have a lot better video and audio quality, so im kind of stuck in the middle. I fucking hate when that happens.

Hey Neo,
I just didn't want to see such a classic go to the pile. After all, me being a big fanatic of Akira, I don't want to see it's reputation ruined.
And of course, I hope that it turns out swell. But I'm not gonna spend my bucks on teh movie until I'm sure the movie has some hard Akira factor under its belt.

But thats what im trying to say. It doesnt matter how bad the movie is. The original movie is always gonna be there. Your not losing anything, but you have a chance you might gain something, so there is nothing to be upset about.Lyrs wrote:Hey Neo,
