Question about Gundam SEED on CN.

From what I've gathered from those who've seen the unedited version (and from some REALLY crappy and freakishly obvious editing) there have been a lot of changes made to the CN version. Last Saturday's episode was the last they'll be showing for some time, isn't it? I've heard rumors that when CN starts airing it again it'll be on at a later time...hopefully, that'll be true, since it should mean that there'll be less butchery. At least Kenshin'll be back for a while.

Sofar I've only seen/own disk one of the series. It's probably been so long that I don't remember any specific edits.

They're taking off a brand new and quite popular series to show reruns of a series I don't paticularly like in DBZ style (It wasn't that great, the fanboys/girls made it worse). That shows you how dumb the idiots behind the programing are.ryuu_hime13 wrote:At least Kenshin'll be back for a while.

Perhaps, if the staff at Adult Swim are any indication*, the Toonami staff got tired of getting yelled at by the Kenshin fandom and decided to switch them around (...at the very least so they could hear from another pissed off fandom)
Still, if what I've heard about the second half of the series is any indication, I'm thinking this is probably because they're not quite sure how to make that part Toonami-friendly just yet, so they need a little more time (...of course, if this is giving them problems they're gonna be in Hell when V gets brought over, but I digress)
*remember the mileage they used to get out of InuYasha fans..

I never really thought of it in DBZ style...and from what I've heard (I could be wrong) they're going to start Kenshin at the point they left off at. Kenshin fandom has been screaming bloody murder indeed.Zero Serenity wrote:Sofar I've only seen/own disk one of the series. It's probably been so long that I don't remember any specific edits.

As for GS, I like it too, and I'm sad it'll be gone for some time, but at least we know it'll be back, hopefully at a later hour so there will be less butchery.

C.N. will take a break from showing SEED (I hope it's just a break) after episode 26, so we have two more to go.ryuu_hime13 wrote:Last Saturday's episode was the last they'll be showing for some time, isn't it? Yay! Will it be on next Saturday, though? They have that samurai/jedi thing going on. I'd look up CN's schedule, but I'm too lazy and I have a damn economics test to worry about. Two more eps is great...though I was sure they'd shown 26, since it started airing the same night as Wolf's Rain. But there might have been a few nights the airing was changed, so don't pay attention to me...they give the episode number before each episode.
29 is the first death of a major character...I want to know who it is already! ::cries:: No spoilers for me, though...I hate those.
