The .hack//SIGN OP is very nice, and it strikes a chord somewhere deep within me. I like it. A lot. ("deep in the night/far off the light..." reminds me of the late nights I pull, and of the mentality that I assume somewhere in the middle of them)

The Wolf's Rain OP actually has a very similar effect, but I'm not going to go into that.

For musical reasons, I like the Crest of the Stars OP. It's slow, dramatic, and fits the series nicely. Also for musical reasons, I like the Bubblegum Crisis 2040 OP, but that whole series has a very addictive soundtrack.

You know, I'm really starting to realize I'm becoming a perversely-obsessed 'Monster' fanboy.

The ending, for me, is a huge treat - this is because David Sylvian, even without having anything to do with anime, has been my favorite vocalist/lyricist for quite a while. So, I think it's easy to justify why.
