Skies of Arcadia has that Anime feel and is a damn great RPG to boot. Good luck finding it though. Been discontinued.
I bought that puppy the day it came into the store, it was the last copy they had to.

It was really great, one thing that stood out was the good VAing. I was glad I didn't have to wince everytime they called out a special move. *has SO2 flashback*.

There's also a Lupin III game that just came out for PS2. It plays like Metal Gear Solid, but has the Lupin charm.

Gundam Battle Assault 1 and 2 are ok fighting games.

There is a new mecha game coming out for the PS2 in America soon I hope. I don't know the exact name, but it's something like "Sunrise World Tour" or something. Is like Gundam Battle Assault but much better graphics and characters from Big-O, Armored Trooper Votoms, Cowboy Bebop, Silent Mobius, and some others.

not neccesarily an anime game, but i know they're remaking a Ninja Gaiden for X-box.

I read the review for it and it looks very cool. it's action oriented so the focus is more on killing things. Even if you do the same combo twice in a row it will turn out different because it reacts to enemy postions, wehre you are in proximity to walls and such ... really interactive game

Gundam: Federation vs Zeon for the PS2 is a fun one...some of the space maneuvering takes a little adjusting, but once you get the hang of it, it's overall a good game

Hmm, well for old stuff there was a Ranma RPG and several fighting games (none of which were very good), a Tenchi Muyo RPG (enjoyable turn based combat game) and several Sailor Moon games for SNES. Also a Lain game for Playsation I know of. I can't think of any other that haven't been mentioned alread outside the pokemon type games. *bleagh*
Insert meaningful line here, 'cos I can't think of anything.

Glove On Fight!

Hentai game, sim game, and shoujo anime characters morph to chibi form and beat the tar out of each other!

Look, you can see Dejiko from DiGi Charat.
