The one thing that I enjoy most about Andersong is the fact that he was strong enough to force Alucard to upgrade his weaponry. If he hadn't upgraded to his current gun he would have had alot more trouble with Andersong the second time than he did. Also I like the fact that Andersong is a tough opponent to kill, I assume the only way to kill him is too completly destroy every particle of his existance. *shrugs*. I still wish they would have gone more in depth with his character.

no, if he had been shot in the head a few more times with the hellsing .454 he;d ahve been down and out. but alucard jsut thought he was a crazy human, and not a regenerator. Otherwise he'd have been taken out of the story right there. But i think alucard was upgradding his weaponry from before he met anderson, since they were saying something abut a long wait. Anderson was just an excuse to get the weapon to alucard faster.

I thought Anderson was just alacurd's play thing.

In the eps I had the impression we was forced to kill himself by a vampire hense always had a strong hatred for them. Then he gave up his humanity to become what he is. 'He's just a dog'
teehee.

One thing that confused me, when Alacurd was generally mocking him he said that 'Only a man can truely hope to kill a monster' As if by losing his humanity Anderson had become weaker in Alacurds mind.
But, I did like Anderson, he seemed to give alacurd a bit of entertainment for awhile.

yeah, it's Iscariot Division 13 (heh, heh "Yes Jesus") that Andersong is part of. He's alot better in the manga, and makes more appearances. It's interesting how Alucard and Andresong interact (which usually includes fighting). Overall, the manga has a better (and more) storyline. It's too bad the anime didn't follow the manga more closely. The first battle with Andersong is awsome (yes, still as crazy as ever, but that's what makes him cool), longer fight and Seras gets something like 20 knives stabbed in her (instead of just one in the show). Hellsing show = good, Hellsing manga = better. (although, I can only read a bit of it...I'm still learning Japanese) go here to buy manga http://www.animenation.com/books-import ... lsing.html

It has more than likely been fan translated if it hasn't been licensed yet.

i'd rather have the licenced manga then fan translated manga scans... but if you can give or pm a link to me .... that would be cool, since a lot of us still aren't really sure if it's been licenced or not.

I liked the fact that because of Anderson, there's a new factor in the anime: rivalry. Yes, it is based on extreme somethings like religion and the devil, but it's still extremely entertaining to see Alucard with a big grin because his rival has shown up; same for Anderson's smile. :P

Kinda like the whole Goku-Vegeta relationship, only this one only lasts a few episodes. 8)

Anderson was always cooler then Alucard for me. I don't know why, maybe white is cooler than red? I dunno. Anyways, he's still the true villian in Hellsing for me. Incognito was a big puss, the only reason he came anywhere near beating Alucard was because he hit him with his OWN bullets. Anyways, Anderson is my favorite Hellsing character.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.
