In fact, Lupin III is supposed to be the descendant of Arsene Lupin (his grandson, IIRC), hence the name Lupin the Third...

Sesshomaru - Tenseiga: Power, The opposite of Tetsusaiga. Ability to resurrect enemy(s) or ally(s) at will.

"If it's possible, I'd like to live one more day." Sensui, of course, wanted to know why. "Because my favorite comedy is ending tommorow and I want to see the last show." he then laughed. Sensui decided not to kill him and Itsuki became his partner.

YYH question. im new here so i don't know if it was already asked. Why did Hiei fight against Shigure knowing that he might be killed in the process anyway? What was he reasoning behind doing what he did?

First, Mukuro put him to fight Shigure, to prove he was strong enough to fight for here - he didn't have a choice of not fighting. Second, when he got his jagan implanted, he promised Shigure he would get stronger and come back and fight him - he had to keep that promise. The third, and controversial reason that Hiei fought, specifically why he wasn't afraid that he might die, is becuase of his goals. He'd already found Yukina, and he'd about given his mother's teargem up for lost. So, without any goals, he didn't have much reason to live, so it wouldn't mean much if he died. That's why he only used his sword to fight Shigure, instead of his youki or kokoryuuha. I say it's controversial because I've been assured Hiei didn't commit suicide, but Mukuro reads him as having no will to live because he's fulfilled his purpose.

Let's see, we learn of their past together, when they were theives in the same 'pack.' Yomi was always lagging behind and being a general clutz/nuisance so Kurama decided to get rid of him and hired a hunter to go after him. The hunter ended up blinding Yomi and later on Yomi tracked him down and was very angry about the entire deal (kept the poor hunter locked up forever), and when Yomi learned that Kurama was the one who'd had him blinded, he *says* it doesn't matter. But he enlists Kurama's services as a sort of repayment for that old dealing - so Kurama becomes his first in command during the tournament (secretly plotting behind his back). And by the end of the tournament it looks like Yomi really *has* put things behind him because he's rather nice after Kurama's fight with Shigure when he says the old rift is done with.

Sensui was a reikai tante, and he was good at hunting down and killing youkai. But he ran across a cult of humans who were torturing demons, and the sight of that disgusting carnage tore him apart. He ended up splitting into multiple personalities in order to deal with it, sheltering his softer side deep inside (where only Itsuki could get to it), and he decided to give up on the human race as a whole. He wanted to open a portal to the Makai to let demons in to get the humans, but also so he could go to the Makai and see Itsuki's home world. Inside the 'innocent' side of him was kept relatively intact, and he was dying, so he had to hurry and use any means necessary to get to the Makai. His fighting spirit also remained, which is why he wanted that final fight with Yusuke, and why he wasn't upset when he died.

Kira who was "killed" in a car crash along with his mother requested that Seven Blades would make his father hate him. This was because he didn't want his father to suffer if anything happened to him. And Kira thought if his father didn't love him then he wouldn't be hurt anymore.

Seven Blades tried various ways to make Kira's father hate him...
Drinking, Womanizing, Bad grades, he basically became one loathsome guy
But Kira's father still wouldn't hate him even when he got arrested for murder so eventually Seven Blades showed Kira's father that he wasn't human by slicing his hand and healing it in front of his eyes.

This one would be too easy if they actually used the real acronym, which is OOPA -- Out Of Place Artifact.

This term refers to anything archaeologists recover that is not consistent with the known technology level of the cultural site and historical date of its recovery location, such as the functioning battery cells and model airplanes that have been recovered from various Egyptian tombs.

Obviously, a giant robot unearthed anywhere would abundantly fit this description.

I'm going to go with Doraemon, which started long before I was even born and is still on the air, going strong. It was on TV before Dr. Slump, another terminal long-running favorite, even debuted as manga.

Of course, my pre-'70s anime knowledge is a little shaky; Doraemon is IIRC the longevity champ of current series, but I'm not sure how long Sazae-san ran. The comic strip has gone for 50-some years (don't know if it's still running), but I'm pretty sure that the anime not under current production.

It's a tribute by the late director Kondo Yoshifumi, to his mentor (and one of the founders of Ghibli), Miyazaki Hayao (Kurenai no Buta, aka Porco Rosso, was Miyazaki's most recent film up to that point).
