What do you think is the most violent/intense anime battle

Well, technically EOE is an ep 25 and ep 26 replacement, which it states pretty explicitly.
Yep, that's exactly the one I was gonna say. Glad I'm not the only one who thought that. That one and the one in Ep. 18-19 (Eva 01 vs Eva 03).
Kenshin, Ninja Scroll, etc. - these are quite violent, maybe more violent, but the ones in Eva (to me) are just more loaded emotionally, so they scared me lots more than anything else.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

OW! I saw End of Evangelion yesterday and DAMN, THAT's GOTTA HURT! Cockhead Shinji refuses to fight, spineless motherfucker. Lost his comrade from being a pussy.oXAnimeGoddessXo wrote:I'd have to say the battle between Asuka and the Eva series in The End of Evangelion, that was pretty intense.
Inuyasha, all the fights in the beginning, before he knew to use his sword to the max of its potential. That would include all the fights with half brother Sesshoumarou, all the traps that Naraku set for them...pretty much.
Trigun, all the times that Vash saw a bystander die in front of his eyes because of his involvement with the Gung Ho Guns. The saddest scene would be when Brad dies in the sky ship episode.
The Wolfwood vs Chapel was pretty intense as well.

Any opinion on the blood on Inu? The blood's so dark and think that's it's really, really cool. In any case, Knives and Vash was a good fight along with the fights against all of the Gung Ho guns. Legato rocks btw...omniinuyasha85 wrote:OW! I saw End of Evangelion yesterday and DAMN, THAT's GOTTA HURT! Cockhead Shinji refuses to fight, spineless motherfucker. I thought Wolfwood was Chapel? The whole thing that he was originally a part of the Gung ho guns?omniinuyasha85 wrote: The Wolfwood vs Chapel was pretty intense as well.

Well, in the beginning, I would figure he suffers a lot of pain, but as the anime progresses, how Inu deals and reacts with pain suggests that pain is on a different playing ground for hanyou's and youkai's.eX-Dream wrote:Any opinion on the blood on Inu? From what I see, an attack capable of splitting a mountain would just incapacitate Inu(as seen later on when Kagura reflected Inuyasha's Kaze no Kizu. That is also the same atk that Sess demonstrated when he showed pretty much everryone how the sword SHOULD be used, and not swung around like a baseball bat hoping to hit a target)
Inuyasha doesn't need every last drop of his blood. He uses his blood to form blades, a pretty unique signature atk thats not seen much as the anime goes on, mainly due to his learning how to utilize the Kaze no Kizu and later on, an even more badass power the sword possesses.

Not so. Remember in episode 23. Chapel, the guy with the red glasses and green apple came back for a homely visit to everyone's fav smoking priest, Wolfwood?MrScribble wrote:I thought Wolfwood was Chapel? Wolfwood's original job as assigned by Knives is to bring Vash back to him. While Nick serves Knives, its in a diff way(he is to be Vash's guide back to his brother) Legato, seeing that Vash won't change, said screw it, kill him, since Nick's assignment changed, he is now a Gung Ho Gun, as Chapel said. (Gung Ho Guns, are assigned as punishers, or attempted executioners of Vash the Stampede.)
