Anime endings? Definitely Hoshi no Koe, and probably Grave of the Fireflies.

As for series that had moments (if not endings) that made me reach for the tissue box - I'm going to have to go with Fushigi Yuugi and Fruits Basket.

Grave of the Fireflies, definitely. Hell, I was in tears halfway through it. Also, SaiKano. That was depressing for a shojo anime. It's like Kare Kano meets NGE. Yeah . . . picture that!
Someone really fucking hates me. If you ever decide to show your face, please, pay me a visit. I’d like to introduce you to several obscene gestures.

I'm one of those people that everyone considers strange because I'm emotionally dead. I've never had any problems keeping my tears in check. I just refuse to watch Grave of the Fireflies a second time.

Grave of the Fireflies made me cry at the end, The Rurouni Kenshin OVA's almost made me tear up and the last OVA, the one concluding the anime, made me tear up!

I laughed my ass off when I saw Kenshin die of a disease.

Bebop is the one that brought a tear to my eye...

These following aren't endings, but still: Asuka in End of Eva, Wolfwood in Trigun, Rei from one of the eps of Eva, I think that's about it...

Too bad that last OVA doesn't have anything to do with the real ending in the manga and the real manga is a lot more open-ended and I like it a lot more. That last OVA, I don't even consider it Kenshin since it is like 5% accurate to the actual manga.

Anyway...back on topic:

Definitely Grave of the Fireflies. That's one of the few movies (animated of live-action) that has made me shed a few tears. Another was NTHT like Earth Current said. Particularly one scene which I won't mention since it's major spoilers, but I THINK EC was referring to it.

Someone said Final Fantasy XIII? Aren't they on XI right now? I think you meant VIII I guess.

Usually when anime makes me want to cry, I do cry. Grave of Fireflies was definitely one. Bebop pissed me off but I still cried.

*****SPOILERS AHEAD*******

I liked Bebop's ending. It was pretty much implied the entire time and once Julia died, it was pretty obvious both Spike and Vicious would die as well. The three of them are all tied with a thread throughout the show and thus if one dies, they all die.

Gundam 0080: War In The Pocket -
Just the way everything plays out (I'd explain but that'd be major spoilers...those who've seen it know what I mean)

Char's Counterattack -
Not sure why on this one...but first time I watched it subbed...the music playing just before the end credits started did it...

As for Bebop...at the risk of sounding heartless, I didn't feel all that sad at the very end...just kind of had a feeling it would come to that
Episode 24 on the other hand....
