I hope these stay rumors. There are a few series that could be made to live action and others that shouldn't. There should be no sequel to Evangelion, anime nor live action.

Can someone please kill those damn ADVers?

Live action DBZ sounded like a solid excuse to make further ridicule of the DB franchise...

CB live action sounded like a darn weird idea.

Eva... disgusting... unless it's, yea, porn
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

My opinion...
If the Japanese won't make it. The Americans shouldn't.
If it is a Japanese production, y'know the live crap I'd probably try to see it, otherwise, meh. And on the note of it being Japanese, I think Ian Thorpe would make for a great Touji.

Only way they can redeem for this, is to license the eva reneval project.

But we all know we're gonna watch this anyway. ADV got us, like hamsters running for the cliff in mass suicide

They did. Like 3-4 weeks ago (I believe). I remember there being a thread where everyone that had just bought the Perfect Set was pissed off because they now want Renewal and it'll mean more moneys.

And, while the crap-factor on this movie has extremely high potential, I am not going to pass judgement on it until I see it, or at least a trailer. Until than, I can only HOPE against hope, that where other live action adaptions have failed, this will succeed. Look at one bright side. At least its not Warner Bros or Fox or Paramount or any of the other big name Hollywood studios that dont know jack shit about anime, thats making it. And theyre collaborating with the original creators (minus Anno, unless by some miracle he's decided to come back for this, which I HIIIIIIIIIIGHLY doubt, but hey, he's eccentric enough. Maybe he'd do it out of a twisted sense of humor).

But, anyways, I'm not holding my breath on this one.

Oh, and as for live-action evangelion porn, just search on ebay for evangelion cosplay hentai. Oodles of cosplaying-as-14-year-olds-and-having-the-sex fun.

I wonder if there going to try to compact all 26 episodes plus the movies into one movie or opt to just do an important segment from the main. Thereby making it less feel less like a rushed movie and making room room for a sequel. Still won't be as good as the original but at least it may be good in its own right.
