no gutts, no glory! [gory anime suggestions?]

im looking for a gore filled, blood strom whirlwind of death anime. some thing bloody like hellsing but more so. and some thing gorey like petshop of horror but more so. something with a lot of death and evilness. if you dont know just show me some gorey anime pictures.

Definetely check out Elfen Lied! It's SERIOUSLY gory (and I thought it's going to be a trashy fanservice series).

Apocalypse Zero looks like it has a lot of gore...heard it sucks though.

Fist of the North Star...same as above, though the new version might be better.

X the movie is supposed to be pretty violent.

Apparently tho, after viewing the above thread, Elven Lied claims the throne as goriest of all time. I could not believe how explicit that shit was @_O

Oh come on people.

The problem is that a lot of really brutal stuff is just not in wide distribution, and even when it is, it's often restricted due to other content. I haven't seen Elfen Lied yet, but if it's showing on TV, I doubt that it'll really match up to the below:

Mystery of the Necronomicon; hentai, but with an extreme gore fascination. Watch this for most of the dismemberment. Released under Anime 18 in North America.
Evil Dragon War Chronicles; the only anime I've ever seen to feature a guy getting beaten with his own severed arm. The video is not on line at present, and there is no US release.
M.D. Geist; one of CPM's first properties, it's probably out of print. Most of the story sucks, but the bloodshed (humans being eaten by robots) is nifty enough.
Karura Mau/Nara Malignant Picture Scroll; just got this on fansub (tape, not digital) this week, and haven't seen all of it, but when a guy's head is spiritually severed by hungry infants following double eyeball-extrusion in the first five minutes, you know it's got to be good.

Trust me dude...after seeing those screencaps, Elven Lied is defentiely the worst. I have, seriously, never seen anything that brutal before. The aired version on TV has mist and steam covering up the violence and nudity.
