While none of those describe the anime mentioned, it would be, in this context, a figure of speech to describe the extent at to which they are known. (i.e. most fans know of these titles, so they become a norm when viewing statistics about which anime is known by anime fans individually)

Fruits Basket would be something I would recomend. It's mainly a comedy, but it does have quite a few episodes/parts in it that are more serious than funny. I'm not sure how to describe it, either light-hearted or maybe on the darker side? Either way I guess, since it is a comedy, but it's about a family curse...

Hmm true fruits basket is a comedy. But it also has many overly warm fuzy moments. A few are okay, but too many make one quite irritable. Or at least they make this one irritable.yukimoru wrote:Fruits Basket would be something I would recomend.
