Anime in Thailand

Post by ForYouToSee » Wed Mar 10, 2004 9:06 pm

I've been to Thailand in 2002 and saw only a few anime shows over there because I spent most of my time in the urual areas of Thailand.
I only saw 5 anime shows. Those were Digimon, Pokemon, Ojamajo DoReMi, and 2 others that I don't know the name for it. Thailand might show Doremon, DBZ, Bomberman, and Gumdum, but I'm not sure.

I might go to Thailand this summer and was wondering if any of you know what kind of anime is in Thailand beside those that I told you, or better, what time do the anime show appear?

All I know is that they show it on every Sunday.
I'm asking this because I want to know and see if anybody knows any new anime shows since the summer of 2002.

im not sure about thailand, but i grew up in the Philippines... also in south east asia. anyways, theres suppose to be a lot of anime. sometimes, they use a different title for it. in the Phil, they call yu yu hakusho -- ghost fighter. and they call Inuyasha -- samuri X.. but yea, some are pretty much the same. and most of the time, they dont translate the anime to english. they translate it to their native language so its rare that you might find an anime in english. but i dont know about thailand if they do the same thing.

i'll try to recall.. umm.. i remember seing yu yu hakusho, fushigi yugi, all the DBs, pokemon, digimon, sailor moon, Inuyasha, and a damn lot more that i cant remember the names!.. and manga isnt so popular.

anyways, there might be more that is new showing, but i dont know.. i havnt been there for 1.5 yrs.

^_^ i dont know why im even telling you this.. im suppose to say something about Thai, not Phil. -_-;;
