8) IIRC These are all Ghili Studio's productions?

Didnt they also do Nausicaa?

I only have Kiki's Delivery Service(excellent) and Laputia: Catle In the Sky(also excellent).

I dont have Princess Mononoke (seen it and loved it)or Spirited Away(have not seen yet).

It seems that Studio Ghibli is one of those companies that almost everything they do is good.

I have seen a Studio Ghibli box set at Otakurama here in town. Anyone know what comes in it?

They're talking about ones that have been licensed in America.... unless the ones you mentioned are also licensed and I've been living under a rock

I hope Totoro makes it's way to DVD soon... or maybe it is already

I feel so gimpy

Totoro's been on DVD for a long time now. I think it was the first one out. Yes Gihlbi did Nausicaa (I really want to see that one) and one more about shape shifting racoons. I think all others have been covered here.
It's cold and dark ... Perfect!

Studio Ghibli has done Nausicaa, Laputa, Grave of the Fireflies, Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, I Can Hear the Ocean, Only Yesterday, Pocco Rosso, Pom Poro, Whisper of the Heart, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, The Cat Returns, My Neighbors the Yamadas, and are currently working on one called Howl's Moving Castle. There are also a few TV specials that I didn't list, IE their AMV On Your Mark. Not all of these are avalable in America of course. In fact there are a couple I doubt ever will be published in America. Only Yesterday for example is tied up into Japanese society too much to have wide scale appeal in America. Of course I could be wrong, I thought the same thing about Princess Mononoke and that got released.

<a href="http://www.nausicaa.net/miyazaki/films/ ... caa.net has a complete list of their works. They also have a good description of the Disney world distribution deal if you're wondering when/how stuff will be released in the US.

Nuasicaa is IMHO the best Ghibli work by Miyazaki. I believe it is to come out in December on DVD. *Can't wait*

Totoro is out now however it is only dubbed in english. I haven't seen it so I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing :|
