What's with the character sneezing?

Looking at Onegai Twins I noticed another occasion where a character sneezes with a reference to him is made.

Is there like an explanation for this? I've seen this in plenty of other anime, and even some games, but I never questioned it until now.

Yeah, if you sneeze it means someone's talking about you. In RK it means someone hates you and *they're* talking about you.

Yah and i think a combination like 3 or something means they hate you, cant remember.

hehe - I don't think it was meant as a sneeze; more like She said something and the Camera switched to see his reaction to what she said kinda thing ^^

hmmm, come to think of it - why hasn't He been sceen in this bizzare little series?

I guess my question to that scene is,
"why is he still in high school and when exactly is this series taking place?"

when you hear a ringing in your ears - someone is not thinking of you ??

My guess is that this is either at the same time as Onegai Teacher is (remember in episode 1 of Twins they were mentioning the UFO sighting?) or it's a little bit later. Kei was still in 10th grade after all.

I heard a story from Anime Companion that one person he interviewed had said that his mother always said to him that if he stared at a pretty girl he would get a nosebleed. Then again it could just mean a blood rush or excitment.
