you get two picks, one for actual character, the other is who you think looks best (not neccisarily which one you'd want to have sex with irl - i mean which has the best character design...you know what i mean)

as for character, i'd have to say Gatts from Berserk. He has the never give up mentality of my second choice - Haruka from RahXephon, and hes also a bad ass fighter who carries a sword that weighs more than I do. Not only this but he has a free feeling to life, since he's supposed to be dead anyway, and I like that.

as for character design, Frey from Gundam Seed roxxors my boxxors.

when i first saw her in her Earth uniform i thought "...red hair, pink shirt..black skirt...and green stockings...that is absurd", but once you get used to it, it really grows on you. also the scenes of her topless in Kira's room really seem to fit her character, somehow. Maybe it's the pink underwear, but regardless..she kicks ass.

Best Character - Sojiro ( Rurouni Kenshin )

Sojiro is by far my favorite character. He was the person in Rurouni Kenshin who at some point had the same options as kenshin but whent down a different path. In the end he began wandering at the same age kenshin did to find his answer. Deffinitly best character

Best Character Design - Haruhara Haruko (Raharu Haruha) ( FLCL )

Im not sure why but i love the art in FLCL and her design is awesome

Favorite Anime Charactor-Vash the Stampede
Vash is awesome. He is funny and loveable at the same time. He tries to stop crime and does it with putting his life on the line for people who hate him. He's friendly, but a little too friendly towards beautiful women. He never judges people by how they look(other than women of courselol). He's the perfect role model for a young boy that wants to become a great man. I love you Nicholas Wolfwood!!! I'm sorry he died Millie!!!

Favorite character: Hiei, from Yu Yu Hakusho. He's very young for a demon, but he's been through so much that he's jaded. He closes himself off from everything, so he can't ever be abandoned again like he was at birth. This makes it more touching when he can't help but love his new friends, and watching how torn he is around them really adds depth to both his character and the anime. It also helps that he has a variety of fighting styles, a very sharp wit, and neat looks to boot. I think those innocent yet dead eyes are what make his looks match his character.

Character design (emphasis on looks): Itsuki, from Yu Yu Hakusho. At first glimpse he looks masculine despite his long pale green hair. He has the body shape of Youko Kurama - muscled but not grossly big. And his clothing is very loose but stylish (also like Kurama). But his eyes shift between being very sharp gold, and being very sensitive. By the end of the Sensui arc you really get to see his softer side, and it comes out in the eyes. They don't really draw him differently, but without that sharp look on his face you can see the effeminate shape, and it makes him seem younger, ageless. I think that change is what makes his story so sad, you get to see the 'innocent' softer side of him during the flashbacks and at the end, but it's countered by the harsh defensive posture he takes when he's explaining his relationship to Kurama and Hiei. The looks don't *change* but they shift, just a bit - and it reflects his character perfectly.

My favorite character of all time would have to be Excel. She, much like the Mighty Steven Hawking, is fucking insane!

But in my current state I most relate to:

I am soo sick it's not even funny.

And my health isnurace has yet to kick in.

Come on now, his whole style, starting first with what he is,A gun toting priest!!! With a huge cross!!!!! He gets that cool bike, that nifty car, and has an amzing arsenal- gatling gun, rocket launcher, 12 pistols (i forget exactly what type of pistols they are....). He also dies in one the best ways ever.................i did say there would be spoilers.......
