i saw the preview at suncoast looked good but ive heard mixed feelings about it. so can i get some opinions on this one?

It depends on the person, really. I personally don't think it's worth buying. It's like the makers of Jackass redoing Rurouni Kenshin, but that's just me. You might find it funny, though.

I've seen the first three episodes or so, I wouldn't compare it too Kenshin... it's hard to describe it is good and I'll definetly try to catch the rest of the series but it hasn't shown the emoitional depth of Kenshin (yet anyway). It's got some good humour in it.

I have hopes for it anyway

hopefully it wont have 5 eps of flashbacks like Wolf's Rain. even though i have yet to see that series as well.

Comparing Kyo to Kenshin is like comparing Macross to Eva...

Both have their fans, and both happen to use the same weapon types, big diff...
