Hello. I masked a video clip with an angel walking. What I did was mask her wings. What i am trying to do is mask a seperate clip and put that clip onto the wings. Now the problem i am having is that as the video of the angel goes on she walks away from the camera thus her wings get smaller. I want to know if its possible to shrink a video clip (the clip im putting on the wings) and not have the mask shrink with it, so i can get more video into a smaller mask.
Hope you understand what I'm asking. Thanks for your help.

Make a new keyframe and use the pan tool to make the clip smaller.

Re: Sony Vegas Masking Question
If your working on the clip with the wings:
If you 'shrink' the clip, the mask will move with it. Set the start point of the mask and start size of the clip.
Then set the end size of the clip, then adjust the mask at that point to the size you want.
Odds are good you'll have to adjust the mask at several points along the way, if not all of them.
If your looking 'through' the wing clip's mask at a track below it:
Just shrink/move the 'lower' clip around. The wing clip is like a window your'e looking through.
