Vegas 6 render problem

correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't lagarith rgb colorspace and huffy yuv12 color space?
the colors might slightly change if thats the case, but no actual quality loss, so it shouldn't be anything to worry about

Huffyuv can be RGB or YUY2, while Lagarith is RGB(A)/YUY2/YV12.

u might have rendered it into a type that your media player doesnt have a codec for

if he didn't have the codec, it wouldn't play

check the obvious first. have you by chance taken down the opacity on the video?

do you have to render to view transparency changes in vegas?
most programs have a black backdrop by default, so lowering opacity would make it look darker

I imagine he'd notice the difference in previews, though, because with Vegas transparency effects show up in the preview window.

no you dont have to render to notice opacity changes in vegas, you would see it in the preview box.
and yea Vegas also has the "black backdrop" automatically ,

but you would deffinately notice the change in the previvew box
