someone please tell me what is wrong with this video. i thought it was pretty good but it didnt get a good star rating. help please.

The star rating is probably low because (1) it's dbz, (2) it's an action vid, (3) the capture quality is fuzzy at fullscreen, (4) it's six minutes long, (5) the action sync is slow starting out. Just having it be a dbz action vid will guarantee a low star score - even if the capture were great, dbz vids tend to score low unless they're really special. As far as the capture quality - you can fix that by raising the bitrate (if you're using wmm, then choose a higher export setting, like the "high quality large" option). You said you started with dvds, so if you're having trouble ripping them or cleaning them (dbz dvds tend to be fuzzy to begin with), check the guides for tips. Make sure you edit with huffyuv, and as long as you keep the bitrate high, the capture quality should look nice. The editing...that's more a matter of practice. I only watched the first 20 seconds of the video so far, but I can tell you're missing the drums. Practice beat sync - drum rolls, or sharp beats every few seconds in a song - match them to either a scene change, or some sort of motion in the clip. You're doing action, so there's plenty of motion you can match up. Since it's dbz, you can match the footage so the punches and explosions land right with the drum beat.
