Free Ops for OLD SCHOOL AMVs

Post by Scandia » Thu Apr 21, 2005 4:58 pm

You heard it. Free Ops for AMVs using OLD SCHOOL anime. By old school, I mean anything previous to 1990. I do not know if your definitions are different, but I consider anything created before 1990 to be old school.

PLEASE no DB/Z or Ranma 1/2. In fact, please NO Rumiko Takahashi stuff. There is plenty of other lesser known old school stuff.

Yes, you can have Linkin Park and Evanescence.

By previous to 1990, I mean the anime, NOT the AMV or the music. You can nominate AMVs created today using the latest hardware and software in the market if you wish. You can nominate AMVs using current Top 40 music. It is just the anime (or manga, or video game) that has to have been created before 1990.

How about a Project A-Ko AMV?

(I haven't made it yet, but I have a song in mind and all of the A-Ko movies, so I'll see if I can make one up for you. :D )

Project A-ko counts :) I have never seen it, though.

You are so generous with your AMVs.

I'm OP-ing it. Thank you for making it.

Minna- I want to see more old school AMVs. Feel free to use 60s, 70s, and 80s anime. Stuff from my childhood or from before I was born. There HAVE to be more AMVs using old anime BESIDES DB/Z and Rumiko Takahashi stuff.

Depends on the age of the creator. If you were born in the 70s and grew up during the 80s, you probably will be familiar with a lot of old school stuff.

I did make a couple AMVs to very early 1990s anime, but I do not really consider those to be old school. A teenager may, though.
