Free ops for quick vids

Post by Arigatomina » Sun Oct 05, 2003 3:10 pm

I write pretty good length reviews, and I'm on dial-up so don't expect instant feedback. But if you list your vid here, I will get to it.

Restrictions:
I want 'quick' vids, meaning action, fun, romance - as long as the music or editing is fast or hard I'll take it. I don't want slow drama or soft music unless it's a funny parody.

No:
Trailers
Kenshin ovas (if they don't show his wife I'll take it)
Evanescence - 'Bring me to life' (unless it's an action vid - no romance)
Fanservice (bouncing breasts or panty shots - lowers the reviewability)
Love Hina (unless it's a multi anime vid or an action vid)

[Note: If you've reviewed one of my vids, remind me and I'll set yours ahead of the others. ^_~]

Hm. Would mine qualify?

Non-anime: The Matrix
Length: 6:02 (definitely not quick in that sense)
Song: "New Born" by Muse

It's a song that's slow for roughly the first minute, then drastically changes to the kind of sound you're looking for.

If it qualifies, here:

Fast paced remake of one of my older vids. If you can manage a review, thank you very much. If not, no big deal, I just hope you enjoy it.

Thanks again :D

If you can suffer through the same song twice, check this one outafter Wonka's.

It starts slow, but picks up the pace after the first 30 seconds (dramatic tension?)

This one is fast and full of energy! One part starts out looking like it's going to be a Escaflowne romance vid, but trust me it's not. I hope you like it.

Heh, I stopped watching this thread, and when I came back - wow. ^_^

Yes, I meant quick as in paced, not really in the mood for slow vids. I'll get on those right away. ^"^

I'm about to review it now, but I'd like to say first that I've never done an op for a live action vid before. I'm going to rate it the same way (almost) that I would an anime music vid. [And it definitely qualified - nothing slow and boring about the music *or* the footage since I loved this movie. ^_~ ]
