That's alright, I'm in no hurry. I hope you enjoy it! ^^Darush wrote:
Time is precious. Anyways, I've downloaded your AMV but haven't had time to watch it yet. It's late now so it seems I will be giving you your op later than expected.
I did have a quick glimpse of the beginning though and was really drawn into it for a bit. I'll watch the whole thing later and then leave my op accordingly.
But from what I saw... It seems really interesting.
(hope there won't be anything to spoil my expectations for this AMV)

Thanks I appreciate it.. I read through it and now I have a deeper understanding for your reasons for doing certain things. Although I was shocked to hear that you actually found people who used your footage in their AMVs even with the watermark. I say let them use it. As long as you know that it was originally your work it should be enough. They are just cheating themselves. The fact that they don't own up to it even with solid proof right in front of their eyes just makes them worse so I wouldn't worry about it.Shadowfox85 wrote:Hey Darush
Just wanted to let ya know that I left a comment on your OP that you gave me. Definately should check it out, since I have just a few questions asked in there from your OP. Thanks a bunch!
I still feel that your vids will be better without it, even under your circumstances. But if you want to keep it then feel free to do so. It's not all that bad.
Now on to the similarity issue. I've only seen two of your AMVs and they're the most recent ones. I am mostly seeing similarities in editing style, simple cuts and such with little or no effects. Credits look similar too in both AMVs. And lets not leave out the watermark as your previous AMV also had it.. Both AMVs look the same in that regard as I didn't really see anything new with regard to your editing. It's as if this is the highest level you can reach.
Trust me, I know how hard it is for some of us to improve our editing skills as I am similar in that regard but I think you can't really improve much more due to software limitations. Once you get better editing software which gives you more freedom to play around, your skills will skyrocket if you set your mind to it. But you will have to spend a lot of time working with the software in different ways to come up with something new. Don't just stick to the basics. Try to utilize the software's features to it's fullest potential and if you do a phenomenal result will prosper. Keep that in mind when you get Vegas.
I use Premiere Pro CS3 and I still think I can improve dramatically if I play around with it a little more. I even got myself After Effects Pro CS3 which I barely know how to use. I really need to learn how to work with AE.
Everything I know is practically self taught so my skills are also limited due to my lack of knowledge on techniques and other editing features. I try something new now and then and see how it turns out.

I finally watched the whole AMV and I was really Impressed!
I loved it.
I think I will OP your AMV tomorrow as I am not really in the mood to write up OPs right now.... It will force my brain to work by thinking.
Look forward to a Great OP from me. (or as good as I can come up with)
Again... Thanks for waiting.
