Thanks for the review. ^_^ I'm glad you enjoyed it. And don't worry about the other one - I tend to have odd taste for some music. ^.~GohanV3 wrote:Well since i have a very fats comp and internet connection i have posted your review and before i say anything else it was an honor to review that stunning vid, it was truly awesome. The other vid i turned off not because of the clips, but because of the music, its just a personal preference thing, i never really liked nor cared for that brand of music.

My stance? I've never seen it. ^_^ I have watched a lot of Asuka or Shinji profile vids, and a number of parodies featuring the anime, but other than 'originality' (comparing a vid to others I've seen for Eva), I don't have any sort of dislike for it. Heck, 2 of Flint's three vids used Eva, and I liked those. The only possible problem is that I don't know the anime so story vids (and even profiles) tend to leave me behind. But that would happen with any anime depending on how strange looking the footage is. You should see me trying to understand storylines for FLCL vids...that's impossible for me - Eva I don't mind at all (which is why it wasn't on my list - neutral stance?)Otohiko wrote:Hey Ari, just curious, as I didn't see it in your rules - what's your stance on Evangelion videos? I realize there's quite a few people who are very dismissive of the lot of them.
It really depends on whether or not I can get it downloaded tonight - I'm on the third try now. Opera decided to stop accepting local downloads, so I can no longer resume anything (it won't even show the link that's supposed to pop up after a few seconds). So I'm on my newest attempt - if it actually completes the download you should have the review Sunday at the latest - if I have to redownload it a few more times, it could be Monday. It depends on my connection.GohanV3 wrote:Well im glad you liked the review. So now that that is taken care of, when should i expect your review to come up?
And i'm still watching that vid as im typing lol. 8)
Eh, I don't think there *is* a trial version of Showbiz - it's actually a movie maker, I just *use* it as a converter in case I want to add text (I like the text option it has better than wmm's). As far as I know from their website (try doing a google search for ArcSoft Software) it's a trial in and of itself and bugridden to boot - I think they only placed it on a few new Windows XP computers to test the audience. But if you wanted Showbiz as a converter, you can use VirtualDub instead (much better - there's a link in the 'all things audio and video' guide for that). If you wanted it for a movie maker...I'd say Windows Movie Maker 2.0 is a thousand times better than Showbiz - the only thing Showbiz has over it is the production formats and some blatant effects that I'd never use anyway.GohanV3 wrote:Thats fine, but i was wondering what site i would go to to find the showbiz conversion program. I allready have the full version of TMPG, i just need to fins the showbiz trial now. Help is appreciated.
