as a second thought, if you want a listing of truely gothic bands, kid, please say so. We can provide a list of some truely unique shit you would never hear about hanging out with people who listen to the slop you've listed.

Good Charlotte: A bunch of posers who wish they were rockers. Any song that calls itself an anthem, isn't.

nailz, lay some gothic on me. I want some stuff that I've never heard before that will blow my mind.

Hawthorne Heights: See my entry for Fall Out Boy below. I'd rather have a root canal without novacaine.

Green Day: Great musicians, although they never should have jumped on the political bandwagon. They had plenty of fans on the strength of their talent alone.

Fall Out Boy: Belongs nowhere on any rock list. Nothing but whiny, unintelligible, emo bullshit. They could disappear tomorrow, and I couldn't care less.

Atreyu: Never heard anything of theirs, so I can't comment.

Metallica: Went SERIOUSLY downhill after the Black Album. The new stuff is just horrible. They should retire. Period.

And as an aside, where is the gothic stuff? So far this list is made up of one good band, emo bitches, good musicians who have lost their way, and people who should have retired years ago...
